19-10-104. CRIMINAL PENALTY.

Anyone violating or failing to comply with the provisions of this Title shall, upon conviction in Tribal Court, be punished by a fine of not more than $250.00 or imprisonment in the tribal jail for not more than 30 days or both. However, in no event shall such penalty or imprisonment exceed the maximum established by federal law. In lieu of fine or imprisonment, a person found guilty of violating this Title may be required by the Tribal Court to provide not more than 30 days of community service assisting in the collection and disposal of litter or solid waste. Each day of violation shall be considered a separate violation of this Title.
