8-9-1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF PROCEDURE.

The purpose of this chapter is to provide for a simple, informal, and inexpensive procedure for the determination of claims in the nature of contract and tort in which plaintiff does not claim as a debt or damages, more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00).
