8-9-5. PLAINTIFF’S STATEMENT OF CLAIM TO CLERK; ENTRY IN DOCKET.

The Plaintiff or attorney shall also state to the Clerk who, after due inquiry, shall cause the claim to be reduced to writing in the docket in concise, untechnical form, and to be signed by the Plaintiff or attorney. The signature shall be deemed the beginning of the action.
