5-22-4. RECKLESS BURNING.
Any person who:
- Recklessly starts, or causes a fire to be started, which endangers human life; or
- Damages property of another by reckless use of fire; or
- Having started a fire, whether recklessly or not, and knowing that said fire is spreading and will endanger lives or property of another, either fails to take reasonable measures to put out or control said fire or fails to give a prompt fire alarm, is guilty of reckless burning.
Reckless burning is a Class B crime.
