5-44-13. Written Report.

Whenever a law enforcement officer is called to the scene of a reported incident of domestic violence or dating violence, and he or she does not make an arrest, he or she shall file a written report with his or her supervisor, setting forth the reason or reasons for his or her decision. These reports will then be compiled and on a quarterly basis be presented to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe’s Judiciary Committee and other agencies to be reviewed.
