5-44-7. Protection Order Violation.
A person commits the crime of violation of a protection order if the defendant:
- Purposely or knowingly violates a protection order, within the territorial jurisdiction of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe that prohibits or provides protection against violent or threatening acts or sexual assault, harassment against, contact or communication with, or physical proximity to another person.
The crime of protection order violation shall be a Class B crime.
