5-6-2. POSSESSION OF RANSOM OR REWARD ILLEGAL.

Any person who received, possesses, or disposes of any money or any portion of any property, which has at any time been delivered as a ransom or reward in connection with the violation of any statute against kidnapping, knowing the same to be money or property which has been at any time delivered as such ransom or reward, is guilty of a Class A crime.
