1-2-12. SALE OF PROPERTY.
No guardian has the authority to sell assets of the guardianship estate without prior permission of the Court unless such property is ordinarily traded on a day-to-day basis in a recognized market, for example, grain and livestock. The Court shall grant approval for sale of guardianship assets when the Court finds that such sale is in the best interests of the estate and when the Court also finds that the method of sale is reasonably likely to obtain the best price for the estate.
