3-3-25. APPEALS.
- Procedures of Appeal: An appeal to the Tribal Supreme Court may be taken from any Order, Decree, or Judgment of the Tribal Juvenile Court. Such appeal shall be taken in the same manner is which appeals are taken from Judgments or Decrees of the Tribal Court. Except as provided elsewhere in this Code, the appeal must be taken within thirty (30) days from the entry of the Order, Decree, or Judgment appealed from.
- Stay Pending Appeal: Unless the Court stays its Order, the pendency of an appeal shall not stay the Order or Decree appealed from in a child’s case. Where the Order or Decree appealed from directs a change of legal custody of a child, the appeal shall be heard and decided at the earliest practical time. The name of the child will not appear on the record of appeal.
