2-1-13. ACTION FOR SEPARATE MAINTENANCE.

An action for separate maintenance may be maintained without respect for a divorce upon any grounds which would be grounds for a divorce. In such cases the Court shall have the same powers with regard to alimony, support and temporary orders as if the action were for divorce. An action for separate maintenance shall be pursued in the identical manner as an action for divorce.
