2-4-3. ACCESS TO TRIBAL COURTS.

The remedy and procedure of declaratory judgment shall be available in the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Court for purposed of determining the validity and existence of marital relationships as provided under the terms of this chapter.  Nothing herein shall limit the power of the court to also rule on the validity of marriages in other proceedings, including but not limited to probate proceedings.  The Tribal Court is also empowered to perform civil ceremonies of marriage under such rules and procedures as adopted by the Chief Judge of the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Court.
