Article IV – Salaries

Section 1.

The Tribal Council may prescribe such salaries of tribal officers, employees, or members of the Council, as it deems advisable from such funds as may be available.

Section 2.

No compensation shall be paid to any councilman, president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, tribal council, or any officer out of the tribal funds obtained from the federal government, except upon a resolution stating the amount of compensation and the nature of services rendered, and said resolution shall be of no effect until published as a public notice in a publication for a period of 30 days.  (Amendment AA effective September 20, 2007 – vote 605 for; 191 against; 10 ballots spoiled or mutilated)
